There are numerous events, in a variety of formats, which help us learn more about the healing power of prayer:
Local
Our Sunday services are open to the public. They consist of prayer, hymns, a solo, and readings from the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. The readings are studied during the prior week and so are called a Lesson-Sermon. This same Lesson-Sermon is heard in every Christian Science church around the world.
Our Wednesday evening meetings are also open to the public. They, too, include readings from the Bible and from Science and Health, but on a unique topic prepared just for that evening. About half the meeting is given over to the congregation to publicly share gratitude for healing and spiritual growth gained by their study and application of Christian Science.
Our public Reading Room is open Wednesday (except holidays) from 11:30 - 1pm, as well as right after church on Sundays and before church on Wednesdays. It is a place where in-depth questions can be probed or discussed. It is a wonderful place to meditate and foster individual spiritual growth. There are many resources here, including the Weekly Bible Lesson
Online
A good online resource is Christianscience.com, which includes articles and other study resources on spirituality, wellness, self / identity, relationships, career / workplace, financial security, and current events. Articles are available in both English and Spanish.
Christian Science lectures related to the healing power of prayer can be found on Youtube.
